Who are the Holly Workers?
Everyone that works at the Holly Project is a CSE survivor, here you can learn about us.
Holly workers are all lived experience child sexual exploitation specialists, and qualified safeguarding officers.
With over 7 years’ experience of working with victims, survivors and their families, the Holly Project workers call on their own lived experience to empower and validate people accessing the service.
Offering a judgement free, safe, confidential environment for each person to navigate their own recovery pathway and a sense of what justice means to them.
We work with other organisations to make sure each person can access the services they need and feel supported to move forward with their life.
From complex and crisis work, to craft activities, everyone has a different way which they feel comfortable accessing support.
We offer tailored advice to professionals working with anyone impacted by CSE.
We are the natural transition to those who have been on the CATE pathway, but still feel they need support, but are entering into adult services.
Having the local knowledge and living through their own experience of CSE gives the Holly Workers a unique understanding into victims and survivors fears, worries and support needs.
The Holly Workers have been active campaigners and activists within children’s safeguarding and protection, partaking in the uncovering of CSE scandals and women’s rights movements.
